happy new year folks
need some advice here...

i have changed all 4 engine mounts on my 4g93 twice
and now it has happened for a 3rd time this time only at the front mount(near radiator) gone and has terrible vibrations
i spoke to a few mechanics and they told me they cant do much and recently
i found mount has inclined on one side, whenever i change gear, there is a noise that does not allow me to rev alot, like something is about to break.....

i was thinking of the Chasis Alignment Kit but need to consult you sifu's first...TQ very much

I did call the guy and he mentioned
it could be caused by other reasons and should not be the engine mounting
and possible re-occurence of this problem later on...

the car has not met with any accident and pretty much in genuine condition till now

EvolutionZ, i changed from auto to manual and the mechanic mentioned
that the mounting on the gearbox was welded as it was previously a auto car.
i'm going to see a mechanic this week who deals with alot of putra's so wish me luck,
i feel like i want to remove the whole bonnet and re assemble everything from scratch..

take it easy bro, i used to drive a wira 1.8dohc the limited edition with a big "tiang gol" behind....my engine mounting is actually an auto mounting...cos the auto mounting can support heavier engine since mine is a 4g93, anyway it come stock from the plant and i bought the car brand new, why don u try put in an auto mounting and see....hope it helps....:wavey:

normally, people say not to run the engine hard for the 1st 1500km, no uphill and high speed highways etc..basically be gentle with the engine

however, this article says otherwise

Break In Secrets--How To Break In New Motorcycle and Car Engines For More Power

basically, he recommends us to run the engine hard so the piston ring may seal properly. im started to agree with him and planning to do it after full overhaul soon...
