means if we not heavy modify, so no need to custom tuned? just remap it only?
yup. if your trek is pure stock, u can just remap. but not all tuner has the pre-tune map. so most of general reflash tuner might just touch-up the original stock mapping to suit the engine. but im no expert on thing thing, just sharing what i learn from other guy. what ever it is better get infos from tuner itself.

yes definitely.. best setup for stock is 2.5" pipes with 2.5" inlet s-flow muffler or straight flow muffler for loud sound..

but it all depends if you really need that power or not.. if you like the stock sound and hate noise, u dont have to change the muffler.

use straight flow muffler.
straight flow muffler is good for top rpm power and normally loud sound depends on model.

but airtrek have limited space between the exhaust tip location and rear tyre. so if the muffler too long it will rub with the tyre or you have to slightly diagonal to clear..

change pipe, stock muffler also can.. stock muffler really quite. s-flow muffler normally not loud but got sporty sound. only certain s-flow really loud such as tanabe or kakimoto..

S flow still straight through just double bend so take longer route out, slightly quieter only.....

Hi all zth member,

need your advice here, is there any method to determine when shall we change the absorber?

Some told me that bring the car to experience absorber "Si Fu", he will know whether the absorber need to change by just press down your car and "feel" the absorber reaction. is that true?

do we have a more scientific or more accurate method to check on it? some kind of machine to do checking?

And is that any different to do absorber checking from Sport car like supra...
