First of all, go get a can of paint striper. It is very acidic, be very careful. I do really mean that, VERY CAREFUL. I accidently drip water into the can unnotice and i close it up, it expands, i panic and open the cover, acid splash onto my face, luckily only drips. DAMN!

After striping old paint, get yourself new paint. If you have budget, get those spray car paints in cans from professional hardware shops and spray them carefully. Before that, sand surface with fine 320 sandpaper.

i think the samurai brand is the best spray than other brands.
the "spray" is smoother than others in my opinion..

if u can find acrylic clear will be better protection for the colour.

Paint Striper (Paint Remover) is heLL acidic so please handle with great care!I accidentally spilt a few drops on my face and arms and it burnt like flame! But it did a charm to removing paints.

I brushed the paint removed onto the rims, inside and out to get a thorough strip-off, washed with detergent and rinsed off with water. Let dry under blistering hot sun before I evened off the surface will putty filler. Let dry again before water-sanding it with sand paper of 500 grit.

I started off with a couple layers of primer, I personally think the paint sticks on and lasts much longer on primer than raw metal, but that's just my own 2 cents, I'm not a pro hehe..

Let dry again, then apply the desired paint, and end it clear coating.

Mine turned out like a charm and it lasted and stayed on like a leech, all the way and went along with me sold car.

Happy DIYing!

its an acidic liquid.
it will strip paint quickly.
use with brush to "sapu" and the paint strip off easily.

use with caution. its really acidic.
make sure got plenty of water nearby.
