Due to some changes in scheduling from the race organizer, the Conemasters 2011 Gymkhana Challenge is now a ONE DAY EVENT (Saturday, 18th June, 2011) and no a 2-day event as previously advertised.

In lieu of that, there are some adjustments to the entry fee. It is now RM180 but competitors STILL receive 2 tickets to watch Super GT!

For those who are interested to compete:

1 ) Entry fee is now RM180 (coz it's a 1-day event and not 2-day as before)
2 ) Cars will be split into 3 categories – FWD, RWD and AWD
3 ) Competitors will STILL receive TWO tickets to the Super GT race (worth RM200!)
4 ) There are no restrictions on tyres you can use
5 ) There are no restrictions on engine modifications
6 ) There are very limited entry places as we wish to make it an exclusive event

A lot of questions have been asked on the Conemasters Facebook page, and here are some of them:

1. What are the prizes offered & how many timed runs are there?

Trophies will be given to the top 3 drivers in each categories and we will also have prizes courtesy of our event partners (TBC) … each driver will get 3 timed runs and we will take their fastest time.

2. What time will the event start and what time will it end?

The event will start at 10am and will go on into the afternoon. If you have sponsors, you may bring them for taxi-rides during practice.

3. Regarding the Super GT tickets included in the entry fee – will they include t-shirts, caps and other promotional items like Super GT is offering?

Entry fee to Conemasters includes 2 Super GT tickets valued at RM200 and does not include other promotional items.

4. Will there be scrutineering for the cars?

Cars will be scrutineered for roadworthiness and safety. We don’t have restrictions on tyres or engine modifications so those won’t be monitored.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask and I hope lots of you will bring your cars out to play!

We still have a few places left so if you are interested in entering, please email [email protected] to obtain an entry form!
