Castrol, the proud sponsor of the UEFA EURO 2012 tournament just concluded their first phase of their "Castrol Ada Kick" contest where thousand of participants have been filtered down to a final 20 in order to do battle in the next phase, just to stand a chance to win an all-expense paid dream trip to watch the UEFA EURO 2012 live in Poland in June 2012!
<!--more-->Designed for the Malaysian football fanatic, their knowledge, passion for the game has been put to the test since March 2012, and now the contest will now progress into its second and final phase.
There will be a number of on-ground challenges for the final 20 participants to be tried on their physical and mental abilities as well as their knowledge on technology.
Amongst the challenges will be Castrol's one-of-its-kind Augmented Reality Castrol Golden Strike, which is an Augmented Reality football game app that can also be found for iPad/Android based gadgets as well as ‘Castrol Ada Kick’ Penalty shoot-out simulator.
There will also be an ultimate futsal challenge where a futsal cage will be set-up at the Mid Valley Megamall Center Court, which will see finalists compete in a caged 2-on-2 futsal match.
One deserving winner will ultimately emerge as the Castrol Ada Kick Contest Grand Prize Winner to experience red carpet treatment at the ultimate football event of the year live in Poland!

Initially open to all Malaysians aged 18 and over with a valid MyKad, the contest ran from March 1st to April 30th, 2012. In order to participate in the contest, participants had to purchase any 4L Castrol EDGE, Castrol Magnatec or Castrol GTX Modern Engine to receive a proof of purchase (POP) code and answer a question via SMS and that placed their football knowledge to the test.
Other prizes included a 52" Sharp Aquos LCD TV, Canon 600D, Samsung Galaxy SII, Adidas Seoul Digital Watches and other limited edition Castrol EURO 2012<sup>TM </sup>merchandise.
