braking system modification

car is going faster now that i have mod my entire exhaust system.

however, need it to stop in time too when i need it the most.

please advice on which section to modify 1st..

car - 2004 kia spectra 1.6 (a/t)

get a better disc pad for a start ...
then you can look into bigger and better brake disc and pad with more pots....

if you are into serious braking system ... you might consider the lining change ... and ... i personnaly like the AP braking solution ...

I had my gen2 brake hoses changed to steel braided hoses before the last R3 track day, and it's the one mod that I am pleased with the most.

better braking, better response and better braking feel. So good, a few G2C members who drove my car before either have installed it afterwards, or are going to :P

and yeah, i agree with icecube obviously. brake hoses then pads, then discs.

where did u go for the steel braided hoses? let me know the shop please so that i can check if they make the same stuff suitable for my car.

also, how long does it take to install the new hoses?

price?

how does having a larger intercooler piping,lets say 4" , bigger plenum and bigger throttle helps in gaining performance? how would it affect otherwise? heard that it will bogged down like hell if things are not done properly. very interested in it.
