The maintenance should pretty much be the same as an X-Trail since both engines are identical.

As for body parts, the car has been around long enough to visit chop shops for them.

Do you mean the rear door absorber which functions to push the rear door up?

Those are a quick fix, I got mine at Jln Ipoh for a couple of hundred bucks

Hi akuma. Saw ur old posts and i heard u own a nissan murano.

Mine is a 2.5L, 2006 model.

Last week, my car couldn't start. Some mechanics said there were some water ingress and gasket bocor such. Had to overhaul engine and etc.

Before i spend my money, i'd like to get a second opinion from your truated mechanic.

1) hope you don't mind to sharing his number.
2) do you know any good reliable workshop in KL? Thank you.

I just bought a 2006 Nissan Murano.
I need the senior bros help in pointing trusted workshop for servicing in Gombak and Kuantan area.
I also find the car is too bumpy, we were melambung lambung as we travel in the car along the LPT, is this normal? What can I do to get a smoother ride?

I think lots of questions, but no anwer.

My murano now got the "engine check" indicator ON.
Any where to get it fix?
Find a workshop with a scanner. If yours is OBD2, you can try purchase the OBD2 blue tooth scanner, download phone apps for OBD2, then scan on your own. If got fault code, just google to find out what is wrong. I did for my wife's Chery SUV and the fault code was correct. Code was for the first oxygen sensor faulty. I replaced that sensor and now so far running fine....:driver:
