That 's true. It's a very old test. Even so, I don't think there will be such a drastic improvement for the HKS sponges. It faired the worst in that test. Even with the improvements, I doubt it will be better than the apexi. That being said, I am still using the HKS pods. Came with the hard pipe kit so why waste it. =PBut the results are from 10 years+ ago, and HKS has revised their sponge few times and alot of imitation apexi in the market
