1- remove d vents (if it's removable) or if x just mask tape accordingly
2- wet (soap) sand it using 800-grit then 1500-grit sandpaper
3- spray on plastic primer (if u have) or
4- just spray d required color...thin 1st coat n let dry for 10mins..then proceed wiz 2nd n subsequent coats...3 coats wld be sufficient..

Hope this helps...happy diy-ing

Oh ya another thing I only use samurai brand can spray paint as it's d closest to automotive paint...

I just repainted mine hood vent last month.

It's very easy, few clip to remove and it's out !

I washed and clean the vent and sand and smooothen it out and spray a good 4-5 layers to it and it's looking new again !

Hey guys,

There are a few friends of mine who are interested to learn automotive engineering/technology. They said they're interested to work in a tuner shop or motorsports team someday. Any local college/university that you guys can recommend? :smokin:
