does the hankook RS-3 come in small size like 15' ? Price ?
although I just change my front tyres to Parada 2 .
because HK magazine quoted the RS-3 is far better than RS-2.
I think they start in 16" if not mistaken, but according to my friend seems it is imported by different importer last time. Now since Hankook on their own in Malaysia hopefully they do bring it in.
RS3 is new version, sure to be better then RS2. Parada 2 is mid category only, and RS3 is extreme category, totally miles apart....:smokin:

Look like KU36, price like KU36 but near RS-3 performance.......wow......:driver:
RS-3 does come in 15. Price is RM4xx, almost Ventus TD price.

Don't be cheered by the treadwear, it is far better than 595RS-R, AD08R, R1R.

Spoken to my friend, Kumho V720 is introduced to cover sizes not available from KU36. Which is 195/55 and 195/50, price is slight higher but still lower than all three of above mentioned. Performance is expected to outperform KU36, but we'll see once me and my friend try them out. Cheers

Wah this is too extreme for daily drivers and a slow poke like me.
How about the regular/plain 595, is it good, and what sort of price range is it?
Federal Tyres - UHP - 595
Coz I saw it has all the sizes I need (225/50R17 & 245/45R17).

Federal 595SS is the oldest model. Probably you can go with 595Evo for the front since you want directional and 595RPM which is asymmetric in pattern....

I was on those 595 Evos at one time. Noisy and pretty decent grip. Great water dispersal but you get for what you pay. They aren't expensive but damn they are noisy.

The RPM & EVO don't have 225/50/17 (at least based on their web search result). So I can only consider the plain 595.
Noise is not so critical coz I always listen to loud music! \m/

Yeah I agree with stupidcar - since noise is not an issue, why not consider the more superior ATR Sport 2?

Superior than the 595 in which areas?

He not as confident like you.......hhahahhahahha:biggrin:
Yeah not really confident yet in those brands other than GT Radial.
Anyway I checked in Achilles website, ATR Sport 2 does not even have BOTH my sizes! ATR Sport 1 has my front but does not have for my rear. So this brand is out of consideration already. :)

RPM & EVO also do not have for my rear size. So only 595ss has both the sizes I need. Somehow cannot also load the full spec page to check the traction and treadwear rating there. Do you have any idea about the specs?

Looks like you really need different brand front and rear tyres to suit your tyre size.....

Well so far the UHP tires that have both sizes I want are only:
PS3
S-Drive
HPY
595
CSC5/3

If I want to go like the Corsa system but in the same brand, I found only GT Radial so far has for my sizes (HPX front & HPY rear).

Not sure about Korean tires like Hankook or Kumho yet coz I haven't really check, maybe they also have.

Since these are everyday tyres, among all the brands you mentioned I'd go with the GTRadial HPX and HPY. They aren't bad tyres and are cheaper than all the others except perhaps Federal.

The problem is many sizes of HPX discon dy. I call them to check on one size previously, and they say migrate to the BAX2 model....:banghead:
