Hey i just got my self a 180sx, everything is pulling strong with the car besides the fact that the signal lights dont work. They dont show up on the dash or on the exterior of the car (so i know its not the bulbs/fuse), other then that i have no idea. You think it would be a quck and easy fix, or long and difficult, any avdice can help.

Thanks for your help.

Wht do u mean 4-ways do?

Put the hazard signal..if blink then ur signal lever myb got a problem.Broken plate inside or misplace.Common for old Nissan car.

if hazard not blink then there is wiring disconnected or cut.

Yea, when i turn the 4 way flashers on they flash inside and outside the car, but when i try and put a signal on by itself nothing happens...

Since it`s troublesome to open the steering column...u might do pre-test 1st such as grounding problem, fuse and power relay. If fine then u can proceed to Signal flasher unit behind the steering column.Last go for the lever.

cheers

Guys and seniors... I have an issue here that is too much backpressure.
The story is like this... When I bought my Corolla AE111, 4AFE as a second hand, the driver fixed a straight flow muffler with 2.0" dia. inlet and 2.5" dia outlet. This is too noisy and i find the bottom end too weak.

So I changed it back to the s-flow type muffler. The prob is, the dia of the muffler is 1.5". I didn't know before this. The guy only tell me after it is fixed. The original pipe size for 4AFE is 1.75"...
