Ek rear disc brake

My friend just bought a honda EK...he plan to install rear disc brake...
but he have no idea about that...me also
so just need help for all the honda sifu here...!

1) EG rear disc brake can install at EK ? Need to modify or just plug in only ?
2) How much if plan to buy at chop shop for EK or EG rear disc brake ?
3) How much the workshop changes for labour installation fees ?

1) why want to use the eg brake when there's available ek wan???
2) donno the price now, but maybe it'll cost you around rm600 for the part ( PM hattech la! )

yes, eg rear disc is plug and play for an EK chassis. i think it varies from rm500-700. some forummers here selling it for about rm500 or so, search for it. as for workshop charges, i'm not sure... its quite alot of work if u ask me. also not to forget, new brake pads, and skimming (depending on the condition of the disc).

all in all, i think prepare about 1k +- for the conversion. oh ya... if u buy from halfcut shop, remember to ask for the HANDBRAKE CABLE!

i installed my rear disc brake (EG --> EK) + handbrake cable + workmanship cost me RM600.
