Hi,

Can anyone share your knowledge/experience about celica yr 2000 (the latest model) .. in terms of maintenance, is it expensive to maintain, can find the spareparts easily or not, what are the price range (cheap/expensive/moderate) for the spareparts are like .. does the car always rosak or not ... anything u know about celica.

im talking about maintaining a 100% stock/standard celica ... please .. anyone ... share your knowledge ...

car is extremely reliable.... never break down on me b4.... fuel consumption for stock 6 speed manual is pretty good too.... about 550km/45L for city use.....maintenance is higher than Vios/Wira/Myvi coz parts are more expensive but, still considered ok.... original Toyota parts can be obtain easily.....

Aftermarket parts are VERY expensive and rare.....

Get the 6speed manual..... forget about auto.....

if love street race get the manual 6 speed...coz have the good horsepower ...
if just only wanna show off....get the auto ....can use ur right hand control sterling....left hand hold ur lover hand :biggrin:

i see .. so never breaks down or will not break down so often i guess ... sayy .. thanks alot for ur feedback ... hope more owners willing to share anything ...

[HELP]Exhaust Manifold (extractor) Gasket Problem!

hi guys, been having this problem recently. Weird rubbing/squelling-a-like noise from the engine bay (sounds like "jit jit jit jit" or "chit chit chit chit").
ONLY appear when engine is warmed up! sound is suspected to be coming from belt & pulley area.

✔ Already checked and changed all 3 v-belts (alternator, power steering & crank pulley belt).
✔ Checked all pulleys, no wobbling or loose pulley. No apparent misalignment...
