The Aston Martin DB10 is going to the auctions!

Like most James Bond movies, Aston Martin once again gets to be the Bond car for their latest movie ‘Spectre’. But unlike the previous movies where the car Bond drives is based on a production unit like the DBS, the car he drove in the movie was the DB10 which never really existed on the roads. Aston Martin built 10 specifically for the shooting of the movie and somehow, one managed to find its way into an auction.

This specific DB10 is one of only two working show cars which were left unmodified and used primarily for display purposes. The DB10 is based on the V8 Vantage chassis and features and all-carbon bodywork as well as a bespoke, handmade cabin. Underneath the hood lies a 4.7-liter V8 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

This DB10 will be the only one offered to private owners and will also come with Aston Martin’s platinum authentication award. This certificate means that the DB10 has undergone a digital scan for future reference that it is the real thing. The car will also be autographed by none other than Daniel Craig himself.

The auction for this DB10 will take place at Christie’s King Street auction house in London on February 18 and the proceeds will be donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres.
