Are these patent images the much anticipated Lamborghini Centenario?

Lamborghini has long established themselves in turning the style on their cars all the way to 11. Especially for limited edition cars like the Sesto Elemento and the Veneno, these cars never failed to make our jaw dropped whether from seeing in on the internet or in flesh. So when we heard that Lamborghini is making something special called the ‘Centenario’, needless to say that we are really excited.

But if what has been leaked into the internet recently is what they claim it to be, then this has got to be one of the weirdest Lamborghinis ever built. Of course, looks are subjective and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but this special edition Lamborghini looks a bit odd from the front to the back. Based on these images, it looks like Lamborghini had used the body of the Aventador and had adapted the styling of their Huracan on certain parts like the front end.

Made to celebrate the 100th birthday of Lamborghini’s founder, Ferrucio Lamborghini, it is said that this limited-run car has already been sold out. Based on the Aventador, this Centenario will be making its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1.

Since we now have the Aventador SV pushing out 750PS and 689Nm of torque, this new model is expected to have a 6.5-liter V12 that produces a tad more than that. There is no word on how much Lamborghini is selling on of these, or how many they are making.
