Powered by a 2.5-liter inline-five engine, the Audi RS3 Sportback is already an impressive machine from the factory lines. With 375PS and 465Nm of torque, the RS3 is mated to a seven speed S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive system that allows a zerotohundred time in just 4.3 seconds.
But of course for tuners like ABT, such figures are never enough and there is nothing wrong with adding a bit more power to the already powerful superhatch. Soon to make its debut at the upcoming Essen Motor Show is ABT’s new creation in the form of the ABT RS3 450 which comes with 443-horsepower and 550Nm of torque.
The power increase comes from a specially developed ABT engine control unit, a larger intercooler, and an optional exhaust with four tail pipes measuring 102mm in diameter. The RS3 is finished in a matte red paint with pearlescent finish while the ride height has been lowered by 30mm in the front and 25mm at the rear thanks to a new set of springs.
As for the interior, ABT has bathed the cabin in black Alcantara from the dashboard to the door panels while the seats are covered in leather. As for the time being, ABT has yet to share the performance figures but it certainly has more power than what MTM is offering.
