Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had recently announced the availability of their new C 250 with AMG line, giving their customers a wider range of choices from their design and equipment lines in addition to the existing Exclusive line. While the Executive is priced at RM 315,888, the new C 250 AMG comes with a price tag of RM 339,888 on-the-road without insurance.
And with the extra RM 24,000, Mercedes-Benz is throwing a lot of extras to give the C 250 AMG some exclusivity. Starting with the AMG exterior bodykit, it also gets a set of 18-inch 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels and a sports suspension that lowers the car by 15mm. The C 250 AMG is also fitted with the LED Intelligent Light System with Adaptive Highbeam Assist which allows permanent high-beam possible by masking detected road users in the cone of light.
Other features in the C 250 AMG include the COMAND Online interface with an 8.4-inch colour display screen paired to a 590-watt 13-speaker Burmester surround system. The electric panoramic sunroof automatically adjusts itself in three stages to suit the current vehicle speed, where it is lowered at high speeds to reduce then noise level and air circulation in the interior. The panoramic sunroof also responds automatically to rain.
