So many great things are coming along and taking shape recently; and all of them are set for officially launches in Geneva Motor Show next month. This time around; Mercedes is set to unveil the all-new S-Class coupe in the metal but before hand; the German automaker just released a couple of pictures and info for the interest of the world.

In replacement of the previous generation W216 CL Coupe; the all-new S-Class coupe is based on the W222 S-Class like how the coupe iterations had always been. We have seen the concept study and spy shots of the upcoming S-Class coupe and much to our surprise, very little has changed for the full production version.

Retaining the almost similar design from the concept – the all-new S-Class coupe features unique touches like the optional Swarovski Crystal daytime running lights  to determine a difference from its full size big brother. At the same time; the Coupe features an option dubbed as ‘Magic Body Control’ adaptive suspension system which supposedly tilts the chassis in corners to improve the ride comfort and most importantly; the handling of this big GT cruiser.

Performance will be derived from a 4.7-litre V8 that is good for 455bhp and 700nm of torques which is also seen on the S500 W222 currently. Mercedes has yet to mention on future additional models as of yet; however we can expect more details at its official launch in Geneva next month.

An AMG version will most definitely follow through next which we can expect to feature AMG’s 5.5-litre Bi-Turbo V8. Understand that the new S-Class Coupe will rival competitors like the Bentley Continental GT and Aston Martin DB9 – Mercedes will have to bring their A-game with the model to compete those newly refreshed competitors.

Manufacturers will always get busy prior to shows to prepare for special grand unveilings at Motor Shows simply because that is when all the eyes of the world will be watching. We await for its launch next month in Geneva on the March 6 2014. Till then we are excited to see what Mercedes will unveil along side this S-Class Coupe.
