The Gallardo was set to be replaced by an all-new successor for a while now – but Lamborghini toyed around with the market, making endless special iterations of their best selling model which were seemingly different; but essentially the same car. Its been over 10 years since the Gallardo first made its debut to the world and with the last unit rolling off the production lines last month – we are glad to say the all-new replacement is finally here! Welcome everyone to the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4.

First of all – no its not called the Cabrera which is unforeseen as the name has been blasted all over the internet. Its called the Huracan LP610-4 and as you’d expect, it comes with a 610bhp heart. Powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine, the all-new Huracan sends all its power to all four wheels and attains a claimed Zerotohundred time of 3.2 seconds. Liking the news so far? Well theres more…

To be honest – we are seriously excited with the Huracan’s debut because this will undoubtedly be the next best selling baby bull, and will eventually flood our roads. After 10 years of seeing the ole’ Gallardo, it did became a little too blend and the many different variations didn’t help either..

How about the looks? Well take a good look at the picture.. Done..? Questionable isn’t it? It undoubtedly shares the designs with the much loved Aventador LP700. A mixture of the bigger brother’s sleek and keen-edged look, tagged with the body-lines of the lightweight fetish Sesto Elemento. Of course, the brand has not ran away from the Reventon’s successful styling.. as it can be seen through the headlights and rear-lights which adds a touch of character to the Huracan.

As opposed to the latter – the all-new Huracan comes with a much more enhanced and purposeful front-end which sets to not only be sleek but also aerodynamic in function. For us, we much prefer the Huracan’s more lustful rear-end that compliments the car’s dramatic presence.

Power and looks are not the Huracan’s only strong suit. As we’d expect, it comes packing with high-tech know-how of the Germans to make the baby bull lighter and faster. The mid-engined chassis is blend with carbon fibre and aluminium to keep the weight low. However, surprisingly its 30kg heavier than its predecessor.. With the weight pushed more towards the posh interior to cater to the market’s demand for a much more useable, daily driven SuperSports car.

Malaysia is one of it? You guessed right..
