BMW Shorties 2012 Concluding on Friday 7th Dec – VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE CLIP!

The sixth BMW Shorties for 2012 is about to end, representing one of the most anticipated film event of the year here in Malaysia and BMW Group Malaysia will be hosting the BMW Shorties Awards Night 2012 at the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) at No. 1 Jalan Maharajalela, Kampung Attap, Kuala Lumpur at 7.30 pm on Thursday, 20th of December 2012.

During the upcoming awards night, the Grand Prize Winner of the 2012 BMW Shorties will not just be taking home a grant of RM75,000, but also other supporting award categories including the People’s Choice Award, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Production Design, Best Editing, and Best Sound Design. All will be revealed during the evening.

Currently, the top 10 finalists’ films which are in the running for the BMW Shorties 2012 competition are:
• ‘Crossroads’ by Rebecca Yau Yi Mun
• ‘Da Capo’ by Tan Ce Ding
• ‘Das’ by Suresh Naidu
• ‘Haruman Hujan’ by Martin Chong Yuh Lin
• ‘Johan Adam’ by Lim Pik Lan
• ‘Leap of Faith’ by Bryan Lim Yong Tiam
• ‘Murdered’ by Chua Dick Woei
• ‘Muthal Naal Indru’ by Jagatesh Letchumanan
• ‘Sincerely, The End’ by Lee Wei Sheong
• ‘Talent House’ by Tan Hyon-Le

Currently, members of the public have been invited to visit the BMW Shorties website at www.bmwshorties.com.my to vote for their favourite short film in order to help determine the winner of the People’s Choice Award and the voting period will be coming to an end by this Friday, 7th December 2012.
