Wilayah Next Series of Number Plates

Finally out, after WYY9999, will be W1A to W9999A, then W1B until W9999Y, then WA1A and so on....



PUTRAJAYA: In the impending expiry of the WYY series, the new vehicle registration plates would start with W1A and end with W9999A (see chart above), said acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

Hishammuddin said on Thursday that the current format, which would end with WYY9999, was expected to end in July.

New plate looks slightly complicated. Wilayah plates so fast reaching end already at WYY. For Perak plates, I think 20 years later also haven't reach AYY.

Why not they use F series instead of W ?

F stands for.....

Federal Teritory not being used yet.....

13 is an unlucky number, value may not be that high....

So is 4, which is amongst the cheapest of the single digit.
