Tyre Suggestion

Looking for tyre for my car size 195/50 R15

I've went to a couple of shops and they gave me a few choices below is the list

Hankook Ventus V2 (H457)
Continental CC5
Bridgestone Ecopia
Goodyear Triplemax
Kumho Ecsta
Goodyear Eagle NCT5

Can give recommendation on which is suitable as an all rounder? I also like to take corners quite fast so would like a tyre that has good grip.

Also for my car which is Saga FLX SE1.6 can i use 195/55 R15 tyre? what's the difference between 50 and 55?

Saga FLX SE original size is 185/60R14, right? Therefore correct change is 195/50R15. Overall Diameter is smaller by just 0.28%, means almost same size. Using 195/55R15 the overall diameter will be bigger by 3.1%. Ypou will have lost of pick up acceleration, higher FC and probably tyre scrubbing wheel arch too.

If into good grip, Michelin PS3 will be best for you. Price should range between RM230 to 250 each.
PS3 is Michelin UHP model

I believe it's my old tires. Ecsta HM. Which wasn't that bad IMO. Enough for my spirited drive back then. But RE002 is a different story.

Just a curious question on my part, someone told me that Ecopia actually has high treadwear. Anyone can confirm?

I'm around Subang and don't mind travel to places like Klang if i can get a really good deal. Btw what's your take on the V2 Concept 2 is it good for cornering and fast driving?

240 is fine for PS3.

But stock tyre from Proton not 185/60R14?
Best bet is to check out Klang prices, but if only RM230 then probably not worth the trouble unless much cheaper.

Eco tyre should have higher treadwear as they are suppose to be durable....

My old one just said HM. HP tires I guess. It was decent.

As for the Ecopia, my bad. I heard that it has very low tread wear. Not high, but low. Just realized that a google search on it didn't yield any results. It's just reviews and stuff but no concrete numbers.
