Yes people, it’s still a BMW 1-Series under all that awesomeness. Czech racing team, Senkyr Motorsports, has given the E82 1-Series the full-on race set-up, dubbed the 1-Series Coupe GTR.

If you find yourself thinking that it resembles an M3 GTR, you’re on the right path. The chassis was used to create a car similar to the Senkyr Motorsports E92 M3 GTR by adapting it for the wide body kit featured here.

Motivation for the car comes from the factory 3-liter twin-turbo straight six with a Senkyr intercooler up front for improved charge cooling. Total out put now hovers in the 402hp region, which coupled with the intense weight loss should see this thing make quick work of circuits.

Sending all that power to the rear wheels is a Holinger 6-speed sequential transmission. Bump and rebound is handled by a set of KW Competition 3-way coilovers with KW springs.

Filling out the wheel arches are BBS Motorsports 18x10 wheels up front and wider 18x12 rollers at the aft. The front wheels are wrapped in 270/650/R18 slicks while the rear gets 300/650/R18 for biting the asphalt.

Are u referring to the black cylinder connected to the damper with a silver tube? that's the remote reservoir to adjust damping rate.

While Formula One and the American motorsports public generally never met eye to eye, due mostly to the lack of overtaking that they’re accustomed to in NASCAR, that’s all about to change with the new Formula One track to be laid out in Austin, Texas.
