I was lucky enough to have a quick photo shoot of the first ever registered Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 in Malaysia. There are 600 in the world and only 5 are allocated to Malaysia. This is unit number 099/600.

There is another black unit. Is this registered prior to the black one?

I was actually quite flabbergasted about the power of 4.0. After experiencing the 3.8, I was thinking "How much difference can 0.2l make?" It can actually make a whole world of difference! When you're in the 3.8, the whole car feels like it's on the edge of what's physically possible. In the 4.0, everything feels more effortless and smoother.

Acceleration in 4.0 somehow feels more breathtaking - it is certainly quicker than 3.8, and there's more force pushing you into the seat. The grip is immense, the car almost tricks you into thinking that you can go into corners at any speed you like. What surprised me about RS 3.8 is that when we were in Thailand, there was a lot of uneven roads there, and the car was very stable at pretty high speeds and it didn't feel too uncomfortable.

Needless to say, both cars are fantastic. People who buy GT3 RS certainly know what they want in a car: Less comfort and luxury, more focus on handling and speed.
