Already got my Sika.
Definitely a same material as Dynamat Xtreme. The material something like the mixture of the salt and rubber then stick on a soil.

Before you install and knock on the door, you will feel the door inside is very kosong.

After stick on the door, and try to knock on the door, the sound also different. You feel like your door is thick and quality.

Still not finish DIY yet. keke will report more.

recently a Toyota Avanza owner bought all 3 types of my soundproofing products :)

here's his car :)

These are how SikaDamp630 should be installed! complete surface coverage on the flat metal skin. This skin has the potential to produce the most vibration(source of noise)

These are his SuperLon-ed doors! These supplement the Sika and acts as a sound barrier against further noise intrusion!

And not to forget the VibraTiles! We found it's very handy to stick is just about anywhere! Works great too!

his verdict?
he bought even more SikaDamp630 (another box) and lots more SuperLon for other cars!
HE is very satisfied with the sound-proofing of his car now, and he says he'll recommend it to anyone!

that's his testimony and i'm glad to do business with this gentleman :)

Ninja,

the other day when i was soudproofing my front doors....there were so much grease on the outter door layer. I took quite some time to clean the grease.

I noticed from your pictures, there weren't any grease on the avanza's door.

that's the rustproofing layer. It's also Sika(!!) one of Sika's many automotive line products.. Its a type of spray on wax.

to stick SikaDamp630 properly, please clean the surface throughly of anything waxy, greasy, dirt and dust.

sure thing!
shipping and handling is another RM15 :)

Just wanna ask a casual question. issit possible for any car especially proton's manual gearbox to modified to sequential gearbox (upshift & downshft), something similar to Savvy AMT.

But as to the Savvy AMT, they totally got it wrong. upshift supposed to be pull down and downshift push forward.

Issit possible for other cars?
