<p>We were at Sepang earlier today for a dual launch of the facelifted MY2013 Gallardo LP560-4, as well as to introduce the new Malaysian team, Team FX Primus Aylezo JH Italia, which will be racing for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia 2013 season. Because Zerotohundred are the official media partners for Team Aylezo, the entire <strong>'(00)</strong> team were there to cover the day's events. Expect a more detailed introduction to the Team Aylezo a little later on.</p>

<p>The MY2013 Gallardo first broke cover at the 2013 Paris International Motor Show, and saw some pretty mixed reaction from the crowds. Mechanically, this new Gallardo is unchanged - not surprising given the sheer number of variants and special editions that Lamborghini has released in the past. However, much of the car's front and rear bumpers have been redesigned, characterized by trapezoidal shapes, as well as new design wheels.</p>

<p>Although much debate rages on about the face-lifted LP560-4, I have to admit that I do quite like it. Personally, I've had quite the Gallardo experience; my first time in a supercar was behind the wheels of an LP560-4, and since then I've driven the first-gen Gallardo, LP570-4 Superleggera, as well as the LP550-2 MLE. I still like the profile of the first Gallardo the most, and I've never quite gelled with the looks of the LP560-4; lacked a little edge. In my opinion, the MY2013 Gallardo fixes this 'problem', giving the LP560-4 the edginess it lacked.</p>

<p>Sandwiched between the two MY2013 LP560-4s on display was the 2013 Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo car. Although it doesn't get a drastic restyle, the new car has been aerodynamically re-profiled, and includes a host of adjustable aerodynamic add-ons, which include an all-new ten position rear wing. Lamborghini says that these aero tweaks contributes a massive 120% aerodynamic efficiency over the 2012 model. Other improvements also include brake cooling and additional downforce at speed.</p>
