ratios wont be nice
most 4wd mitsu gb's are close ratios and they r short u cant pull revs

err... check on the 4WD gearbox's ratio .. gear teeth ratio number is low ( e.g 2.98 vs 3.083 at the 1st gear ) but cover with high final drive ratio ( >4.9 ).
it should given slow rev up but better high speed right?
Example :
3.083 -> 8000rpm = 50km/h
2.980 -> 8000rpm = 65km/h

Pls advise.. Thanks

Actually most of the 4WD gearbox is ready with >4.9 final drive ratio.:biggrin:
Btw, anyone had been tried with 4WD gearbox?

all evo's have 5.X final drives
u could try , bt in my opinion u will loose
the long revs cos its gonna shorten ur pulls

pls bare in mind tat the individual ratios r very long....the gearbox juz have a bigger final drive.....calculate back...it might be worst than a mivec gearbox
