This is the only Landsail model with good reviews.....lol
This is good reviews??? Note that this supposedly UHP tire was compared against mid range tires and yet it still only finished in the midfield where there were many crap low end tire brands included in the test.

2015 Test World Summer Tyre Test - 8th of 15 tyres

  • Positive - Short braking distance in the wet and dry
  • Negative - Handling not good enough in the dry. Very weak aquaplaning resistance.
  • Overall - The Landsail LS588 UHP were surprisingly unbalanced. Braking in the wet was excellent, but handling very unstable. In addition, the tyre copes worse than the others with emergency manoeuvres and is quite susceptible to aquaplaning. On dry pavement they again quickly stopped the car, but had very slow response to steering. Lateral grip and stability are too weak for the optimal performance of a sharp manoeuvre at high speed. Because of their softness they demonstrated a high level of comfort, effectively absorbing road irregularities.

And Nankang?? Even worse!

This is the Sportnex model, finishing most of the time near the bottom of the comparisons.
Latest Group Test Results
2018 Test World Summer Tyre Test - 14th of 16 tyres

  • Positive - None mentioned.
  • Negative - Poor dry and wet braking, poor balance during emergency maneuvers.
2017 Auto Express Summer Tyre Test - 10th of 11 tyres

2017 Auto Bild Summer Tyre Shootout - 24th of 43 tyres

The NS2, finished almost last also, only ahead of another crap brand:
Latest Group Test Results
2012 Auto Bild 20 inch Tyre Test - 7th of 8 tyres

  • Positive - Low rolling resistance.
  • Negative - Dangerously long braking distance in the wet, wet understeer, reduced steering precision, loud and uncomfortable.
Then this is the AS2, decent but still finished in the lower end rank and only conditionally recommended:
Latest Group Test Results

2018 AMS Summer UHP Tyre Test - 8th of 11 tyres

  • Positive - Best resistance to aquaplaning, good comfort, acceptable in the dry.
  • Negative - Long braking distances and poor handling in the wet, very high rolling resistance.
  • Overall - Conditionally recommended
So yeah like Ixeo said, go use Nankang if you want to masuk longkang!

Oh! saw a vellfire and Audi with 19" rims and Landsail tyres......lol
I've seen way too many of those unfortunately! Even expensive Mercs and BMWs with huge rims but then using those shit tires. Oh well maybe they just don't know better...

Bro. 6UE5t, the Landsail tyres are named UHP but they are not UHP tyres. Even in Tyre Review it put them in High performance summer, something in the middle like NCT5 category, therefore treat them in that category they are not bad already......lol

Positive is okay woh!...Positive - Short braking distance in the wet and dry

A friend is on Landsail LS588 for his waja. This rubber is not consistent. If pushed hard, be prepared to make a lot of correction..

Another friend driving E60 is on Westlake, he bought at Machang Kelantan. The price is darn cheap....cheaper than branded 16inchers.

China brand tyres have not reached the performance status yet

Honestly I'd rather buy used but proven to be excellent tires in still good condition (like 70% or above) rather than any of those cheapo stuff new! So if short on budget, better just go hunting for some good used tires, serious!

For some sizes, very difficult to find relatively good condition used tyres

If want ot look for used tires, need to factor in longer time. So don't wait until the tires are bald and only start to look around.

But many don't....lol
Waiting for trade in good tyres will be tough. Another way can try those importing used tyres. Have gone to a couple of them, most of the time cannot get good ones, sometimes can but cannot get in pairs and so on.....
