Is installing Open Pod air intake supposed to be loud at higher accerleration?

A31,RB20E, auto...lolz, stuck in jam for the couples of days....

around RM0.17-0.18/km....around 9L/100km...
juz nw i go pump my car, RM50 for 156km...gila..Rm0.32/km...around 16L/100km

No wonder it drinks fuel..

Managed to borrow my boss SAGA BLM (pre FL cars) for 2 weeks (1 week before and 1 week after)... and record every fillups (all full fillups) and its odo reading via FuelLog for Android I've managed to get 252km for RM45 (RON95)

Driving style is mixed... lots of town driving and balik raya to Kelantan on eve of raya (worst jam ever)

So for a full tank of fuel (40liter based on booklet) including reserve, I can safely said that 400km on average on this car...

maybe on a stock FLX auto it could go lots more... inaccurate digital fuel gauge notwithstanding hehe

at times then can save more

Install open pod then the moaning sound will be louder when hit higher rpm

Hahahaha... me just at mercy of those dumb - founded gearbox.... already press more than half - way still no drop gear on an incline.... then suddenly drop 2 gears down and wanna pounce the car in front

Guess CVT in FLX should be better kot? :hmmmm:

Ya, I usually shift one gear down only...2 gears down the car like suddenly over boost LOL! Moaning very loud...

I open eeeeeverything liao... Open pod with cai, throttle intake bore wider to compensate air flow, then extrator to match... Plus exhaust 4-2-1, 4-1 if turbo loooo. Fuahhhh! Dun pray pray...! Next up? Emage blue to tell the sttttttewpit ecu to 'stau dog!', coz stttewpit ecu will learn and compensate, then back to oriiiII muahahhhaha... *hint hint*

Though dropping gear can gain some pick up but then...sakit hati when see petrol drop..
