Anyone of RB owner encounter this? When come to "STOP", your car will occasionally stall, rev indicator drop below 1k rpm, it only occur occasionally. I've read this http://hubpages.com/hub/Skyline-Idle-Problems , it mention this is a common problem to all RB engine, just wanna know how you guys solve this problem... Thanks for your sharing guys~

Currently I had clean my AAC valve, check all the vacuum hose and its no leaking. The result is much better but I wish can fully overcome this problem, feel very annoying to stall when come to the traffic light.

Fuel pumps and fuel regulators aren't something you change yearly. Unless you meant fuel filter. Anyways, what fuel pump are you using? Stock or aftermarket? Regulator?

dude i had the same prob too.. but it think it's due to my bov.. i use single ssqv instead of two, i think that fella can't tahan la.. engine will stall when i release throttle (n free gear) after a period of cruising..
the thing is my bov cant stand a sudden drop of rev, so i overcome the stall by tapping the throttle a bit before i dies.. i presume that ssqv are soft, so i'm lookin for a type II because it's direct fit..
what bov u using dude?

Thanks for sharing bro~ wow, I should try to change my driving style by tapping gas pedal too.. Hks type II BOV, is it the one used by Mr PimPin now? And I'm using Greddy type R BOV(old version), it's blow to atmosphere, I bet this is the main problem to cause my car stall, it only stall when give hard accelerate and sudden stop. Oh btw, what ecu are u running now?

To PimPin, is your hks type II come with recirculation hose?

its a common problem for engine that is using maf n vent the aftermarket bov to atmosphere.. to solve the problem u need to recirculate back the bov outlet vent to maf.. otherwise you can install hks eids or emanage (it has the function of hks fcd, hks eids, apexi safc, apexi sitc, hks aic and apexi vafc all in one unit).. another option is to switch to standalone ecu hehe

Bro, I'm thinking of change my BOV to HKS SSQV with recirulation kit, I heard this is the best way to prevent stall. But as u mention one of the option to solve this problem is change to standalone ecu, I think this can't be solve the problem, because I'm using standalone ecu now and the problem still exist ocaasionally.

See that's what I said a few posts back. This is a common problem if you have a stock ECU. He has an F-Con V-Pro so it shouldn't be a problem.

Mine are HKS Racing Type II's which are external venting although you can buy the kit to recirculate it back. I'm running DJetro.

When the car arrived from Japan, it had Apexi blow-off valves and was running LJetro. Also no problems, drove fine and presented no problems whatsoever.

Bro, I got a bit confuse for your BOV, I can't find any HKS Racing "TYPE II's", but only can find this http://www.rhdjapan.com/hks-super-sqv-bov-racing-blow-off-valve-head-unit-51919, is it the same item and part number? This BOV can hold 3.0 bar and included 2 recirculation fitting(19mm and 29mm) in box. I wish to get this BOV instead of the HKS SSQV3 because SSQV3 required to buy additional recirculation fitting separately and I don't know which fitting size is suitable. Since HKS SQV Racing include both fitting size, I prefer this. How do you think?

Well in terms of design its pretty much the same although mine is at least 3+ years old. I think if you go to HKSUSA it's there but discontinued model already and does not come with recirculating fittings for free. Plus don't need it anyways.

Does ur standalone use MAF or MAP sensor?

If MAF, perhaps the MAF sensor needs cleaning..?

Or change to MAP.. I like MAP.. ehehehe..

HKS Fcon Vpro sure use MAP sensor right? If not mistaken, they are not supposed to run with AFMs.

For idling, if there are no leaks I reckon the best point of reference would be your ECU mapper...

Last week’s Super GT, to simply summarize it in a few words, was totally fantastic. The cars were great, the chicks were stunning, and the crowd was overwhelming. And of course, the first two were no doubt the main attraction of the event. But sometimes it is not the main show that attracts the crowd. Since last year, where JPM took over the baton to continue...
