Mint condition DC5 bought in May 2010. Car has been driven for just over a year. Car had 38,000km mileage when I got it, and I've put only 10,000+km since getting it.
Car has been through only minor power mods.
However, these are the mods that matter for a DC5. Not the cock & bull rubbish mods you'd find on ricey cars.
1. Kiddracing/TDM Header
2. 2.5" straight through custom exhaust (done only 1 month ago)
3. AEM V2 Intake
4. HONDATA K100 ECU (dynotuned at JC Racing)
5. Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts
6. SSR Type-C RS (17", 42-offset)
7. Kumho KU36 Tyres (purchased brand new 3 months ago)
8. Tein Flex Adjustables (serviced and revalved for perfect road and track
balance)
9. J's Racing RCA
10. J's Racing Rear Camber Kit
11. J's Racing Front Strut Bar
12. J's Racing C-Pillar Bar
There are so many other extras, and I've spent over RM30k in the past year. I didn't mention things like the Pioneer DVD Player, Skunk2 accesories, etc. because they're not important, and I can tell you more when we meet-up.
Reason for selling: Looking to get something a little more subtle. Age is catching up. :)
Car is basement parked 90% of the time so paint is in immaculate condition.
Call me to meet up for test drives. Price is definitely negotiable for serious buyers. I paid a premium price for the car when I bought it (unregistered) only because it was in excellent condition, and I've kept it that way since day 1.
Again, asking price may be a little above the current market rate for pre-facelift DC5's, but you're getting a mint condition Japanese legend for each dollar. :)
