Hello again!

I'd like to know if you guys had a choice between both these tires, which would you choose? These two tires only! I've read about the Goodyear GT3 being an underrated tire but is it as good as a Michelin XM2? In terms of handling, noise, responsiveness and so on. Please share your personal review if you've used them! Thank you!

Both are entry level tyres so they are about the same. If on budget just get the cheaper one.
Moreover what tyre size are you looking at as Goodyear website shows GT3 only have 2 sizes.

I didn't read the article but how underrated can the GT3 be? It's entry level so what's their base comparison?

175/65/15. Cheaper would be the GT3, but is the more expensive option more beneficial?

I'd say quite? Not sure how underrated they can actually BE. They can go further if you downshift and shift the weight to the back of the car through corners though.

I guess their available sizes for the 15x5.5J (175 65 15). These are my stock rim and tire specs. Price isn't that far away from each other as well. GT3's are 220+ and XM2's are 250.

If want to improve on handling you can try 185/60R15 tyre size...:driver:

I do have 185 55 15 Michelin PS3's on right now. You replied my last thread :). Right now I'm just asking between both given choices. If I continue running on stock rims, I might put them on the next tire change.

From 175/65R15 to 185/55R15 is 3.94% smaller. Probably you want the car lower but wheel fender will have plenty of empty space. I presume these PS3 are not on the stock rims, but since they are 5.5" can still fit these tyres.
Back to the two tyres, what are the priorities you want out of them. Since both are entry level just take one.....

They actually are on stock rims :driver: I would love for my car to look very un-seeming. Kinda like a "sleeper" car. Except that it tackles corners.

Priority would go to performance (rain or shine) :burnout:

I personally do not see how XM2 or GT3 can outperform PS3 in terms of grip..why not just stick to PS3 if you are looking for performance tyre?

As mentioned by bro. cvkit, PS3 are UHP tyres and the other 2 are entry level, therefore for performance no comparison as they are 3 rungs below in category.

I have this car jack in my car which I bought to replace the standard one which failed on my once. It comes in the plastic carrying box. The problem is, everytime I take a tight corner, it will move from one end of the bonnet to the other.

Do you guys have any idea how to make some mouting brackets for it so it can stay put in one place.

My car is a Satria

Thanks.
