Dunlop D01 vs Goodyear Eagle NCT 5

hi guys, been driving my proton savvy for 6 years and have been stucked to eagle nct 5 due to my tyre size is hard to find, 175/50/r15, recently came across dunlop d01, anyone have experienced using these tyres? nct 5 is not bad dry and wet drip, but doesnt last long and also quite noisy :)

U joking right? NCT 5 suck at wet even when its over 80%.
But maybe that's me without ABS.

D01 aren't looking that good either.

No idea man, its not the best but fine for me, since driving around 100-120 only on wet roads when heavy downpour.

Just wanna give it a change though, changing tyres every 1.5 years with nct 5

About the same. If happy with NCT5 then stick back to them as your tyre size not many choices....

I've used both before and both are equally noisy but the D01 has better grip in the dry. Much much better grip than the NCT5. I've had scary over-steer scenarios going at 80km/h with the NCT5 before but that was when the road was slightly damp. Having said that the D01 isn't that great in the wet either but for the price you pay, it's worth the money. Way cheaper than NCT5.

At the moment using TOYO Eco on the Waja (15inch)

once had 16 inch nct 5 new on my lancer kotak before in front, had adjustables btw, front handles like go kart

ha! ha! never knew you used all those tyres before. Time for extreme and Max tyres for you.....

Yup, since not many users here, tyre brand owners also do not stock them much....
That is why for my SUV 235/60R16 also rare size, so might go 225/55R17 which have plenty of choices...

Oh I see, thanks bro! :) will give D01 a try then. I also experienced understeer when cornering before at around 70km/h, scared the hell out of me, almost bang divider lucky break in time
