Already know the dimensions of the battery my next question is
How thick and how long should the wiring for the terminals?
What is the specific brand for the wirings for the battery?

Thanks.

Hi,

I used a 4 gauge thick cable, with a 100 amps re-settable fuse both front and back. Length??? just run along the door rails, I didn't measure it.

Engine starting and cranking is a little harder, but not bad at all. May be needs double 4 gauge cable??? may be need 200 amps fuse to reduce bottle neck. Or needs both.

Easy !!! good luck, have fun, let us know how it goes.

Brand? I'm engineer, copper is copper, brand has nothing to do with it :).

Folks have said that using welding cable (the thick orange type) is quite good too for this purpose.

but dont be fooled by the thick cables (esp. from China ones). The China made ones are only thick with rubber insulation. The copper core is just like a few strand a hair....Completely useless.

So, dont be stingy with the cables......

Yup, check the cable core thickness not the cable overall thickness.....:smokin:

Here is the length of the current battery I have in the car.
This is a local brand here and its just 1 year old we call this kind of type of battery 2SMF.

Length – 258.9 mm ( 10.2 inches )
Width – 172.8 mm ( 6.8 inches )
Height - 202 mm ( 7.95 inches )
Total height including the terminal post – 222.5 mm ( 8.76 inches )

This is the battery case dimension I am ordering overseas
10-1/4"H x 8-3/8"W x 11-3/4"L

Will this dimension enough to fit the battery, mounting, bracket and terminal?
This is also a kit already that includes wires, terminals, aluminum case, etc.

Thanks.
