Amios, there are no way to know the ratio short of stripping it down, or datalogging a run to see the rev drops after each gear. Even then that is a dubious guess due to tire sizes and tire expansion rates, and also the notoriously inaccurate speedo.
These were done by logging with the Innovate Auxbox unit,RPM and speed tapped from the ECU. tire sizes accounted for, but slight inaccuracies expected from tire expansion rates.
At 5th gear, on 205/50/15 tires
Y21 Gbox is 0.848 x 4.4 FD = 118.42 Kmh at 4K rpm
S80 Gbox is 0.747 x 4.785 FD = 117.33 kmh at 4K rpm
Obviously you can't notice the 1kmh difference on the meter.
For the S80R gbox with 4.785FD (these are not full throttle runs, to avoid wheelspin messing up the numbers), with the stock rev limit of 8K (or 7.8, if you want to be particular), It's normal for the meter to show higher/lower than actual rpm, so if 5300 is mentioned, then it's expected that the STOCK DASH meter will be close to 5,500 rpm region and 5600 rpm will be close to/at the 6000rpm region, The numbers below are rounded up, they are more like 5254rpm (e.g) in the datalog.
if you have a rev/speed/VAFC rpm readout, then it would be a lot easier.
Rev drop per gear from 1-5, S80 = 1st - 2nd 5300rpm , 2-3 = 5600, 3=4 5700, 4=5 6000
Y21, 5300, 5600, 6000, 6200. in the same order as above.
Supposedly CTR g/box with 4.4 FD has the same ratios as Y21, but I cannot confirm that one, unless someone stripped down the gearbox and counted the ratios before.
GSR gearbox with 4.4, for those wondering, the rev drops are
4800rpm, 5800, 6100, 6100.
That's assuming there's no rojak ratios like a Y21 with a 4.5FD, and you aren't using tire sizes that are way different than 205/50/15
