Tested both ATR Sport & ATR Sport 2.

ATR Sport has very high threadwear count.
Very noisy but grip is level is acceptable.
Definitely better than T1R to me!
Managed to clock 40k km on it yet still thick as hell but experienced peeling for 195/55/15.
Changed back to S-Drive again. Loved it.

As for ATR Sport 2, had it on 215/45/17.
Still noisy but much quieter.
Uneven wear and tear eventhough having all 4 units new and balanced every 10k km.

Conclusion, "what you pay is what you get."

p/s: Does not apply to con-job cases or premium pricing.

i'm using atr sport 2 last time 235/45-17 works fine for daily and occasional snake-road carver....

and dont compare with performance series grip...

but if taking other budget tyre performance, the atr sport 2 well shine above all....

no loosing air pressure or weird buldge etc etc.....

now on 225/50-17 tyre but on accelera phi-R tyre.....cheaper than achilles.... lol... achilles, accelera, forceum is from the elang perdana indonesia company...so should be fine in term of quality....

i trust those 3 brands more over those "cheaper china made funny named tyre" and the silverstone/falken budget range also i dont like it.....

So ive been using this tires for(atr sport)........3 years, from 2013 till 2016. So what is my review regarding this tires. bought 215/45/r17(front) and also 225/45/r17 (rear). After a while the tires harden like your didi when your eyes see a sexy wimmin. Really bad grip during rain (brake test) and when it is dry i could do wheel spin with just WOT. terribly failed.

Then i change the front tire to my Gen2, use it for about a year and then one of the tire bloated, on the grooves not the sidewall. well thats bad.

Meanwhile for the rear tire i changed to Jinyu 245/45/r17, and no more wheel spin. The grip is much better, but the tires is really hard to find.

I hope theres a review for Rovelo Sport A1 and also Dayton DT30, Ive bought a set each but i dont know how to review a tire and its in my Gen2 where i drive it like a nanny, 3krpm is the limit.

Regards

I bought Revelo Sport A1 245/xx/18 ( Stretch a little ) at RM280 ( Year End 2016 ). Could have been cheaper if paid cash.
- Dry ( No wheel spin )
- Wet ( Ok )
- Noise ( Reasonable )
- Thread wear ( Even at the moment )

i think more or less on wet puddle slightly better than atr sport 2....doesnt feel as nervous (aquaplanning) as before....

but not sure on overall grip during wet/dry

pretty average to my finding......sure its just budget tyre....so i wont compare with tyre that sit in higher performance range.....

but i can gerenti that atr sport2,accelera will be better than falken/sime tyre/bridgestone my grip
and quality level....

Looking at the pattern,, I prefer the Rovelo over the DT30. Moreover Sport A1 is Rovelo higher end model and DT30 is just BS economy model......lol:biggrin:
