I had TVR Chimaera for nearly 5 years. This is is a great car to drive, as it is very fast. 0 to 100km in just 4.9 seconds. This beautiful beast beats most of the stock productions cars around. I did 10,000km on this car, and I would say I have enjoyed every km ot it.

Now, I am selling my TVR Chimaera. Here are the details:

Year of Production: 2000
Year the car came out of the TVR Factory (Registration Year): 2003
Engine: 4 Litre V8
Body Colour: British Racing Ash Green
Mileage: 19,000 Km
Number of Owners: 2 including the current owner
Options: Comes with the power steering
Other Info:

As you know, many units of TVR Chimaeara were produced by TVR Malaysia. This car was manufactured in Malaysia in the Y2000. It stayed in the TVR Factory Malaysia until March 2003. The car was never exported to other markets, but remained in the TVR Factory until the first Malaysian owner bought it from TVR Malaysia in March Y2003 (the year of registration). When I bought this car in March Y2004, this car had a mileage click of 9,000 KM only. No modification has been done since. It is mechanically sound and the car is in tip top condition. This car has never been involved in any accident. The car comes with a brand new set of Toyo (T1R) tyres (I have only done less than 1,000km on these tyres). I have re-painted the car to give extra shine in the same colour as its original paint. The car was maintained by the U.K trained TVR mechanics (Zack, Check and Azizan). There are only 20 units of TVR Chimaera in Malaysia, and the fact that there are only 20 units in Malaysia means only one thing - this beautiful V8 does not go on sale in Malaysia so often.

The price is RM 138,000 (negotiable). For the maintenance of TVR Chimaera, there are 10 former U.K trained TVR Chimaera mechanics. As such, you will have absolutely no problems in maintaining this car. There is a work shop in One Utama area that specialises in TVR. This work shop is owned by 2 former employees of TVR Malaysia. The head mechanic is the former U.K trained TVR Chimaera mechanic. This work shop carries stocks of spare parts, so you would face no problem in maintaining this car from that aspect as well. I will provide details of the most reliable U.K trained TVR mechanic. Please note that the number plate, WF28, is not included in the price. You could either get your own number plate, or you could acquire this number plate (WF28) for the price of RM 15,000. This is up to you. This car can be viewed in Bangsar or Mont Kiara area.

If you are interested, please drop me an E-mail to:

[email protected]

We will take it from there.

Thanks!

Nice car! Love the retro look and cream interior!

I never thought the Chimaera would be this affordable. I thought they cost upwards of 300k.

Free BUMP!

Hi imoloq, yeah, you are right there - the new ones cost RM 320,000!

Hi gothculture, Tuscan S is the complete beast!

Hi cazykatak, yeah, TVR Chimaera has that most British look - this curvey look is sculptured with FRP (not metal!) - it does turn heads on the streets! ;)

Hey mate does your ride comes with a clutch pack lsd?

Always loved the TVR but unfortunately the closest thing could afford is a Range Rover.
The things sounds marvellous without the mufflers.

Always wondered what happened to TVR Malaysia? Or the Yongs find the business a real handful?
