Do you mean that you are looking to buy a GTT R34 with continue bank loan from its owner without changing ownership?

Obviously there have to be a separate agreement written between you and the previous owner ...

Alternatively, if you take the car and committed an offence or crime, guess who would be the name on the vehicle owners' card ...

separate agreement is ok but must be stamped and verified by lawyer

but worst case senario is if the fella decide to run away with the car..
or just pass the car to car thief..
the original owner still have to pay the outstanding to the bank also

then worst case if the fella decide to pass the key to the thief when the insurance lapse that day and he doesnt renew it as well
the owner have to tanggung all the balance !!!

not worth the risk .

Money can make friend it also can make enemy
Money can make you breathe easier but also can make your life suffering it

yes, actually its about both sides, if i'm paying the installment halfway n the owner get bankrupt the car will still be toll by the bank or after i finished paying the installment the owner just sold the car then still have to go by the court. n i applyed for 350z loan b4, failed, then i drop down the target gtt, still failed. in tat case i think i just get a 2nd hand celica cheap cheap. actually i prefer 350,gtt,evo,rx8

Whatever deal you're trying to do now is not suitable in the eyes of the law or for the actual owner of the car. You probably need to save up more and put a much higher down payment (less loan amount & years). If the Loan Officer thinks your document is insufficient then you just have to scout around more financial companies.

Take your time, probably by early next year car prices will drop, economy better and finance companies more lenient.

mercuris,

i think i was in the same situation as u are. getting it off a direct owner will be very difficult for u to get a loan esp if ur documents are not strong, like mine was.

Best is for u to get off a car dealer. There are 2 GTT in Sunway (opposite JFA motorsport) for sale. I'm sure your success rate will be higher.

If however, it still won't go thru, do what I did, which is to show an alternative source of income. This has to be "legit" tho...in my case, i do photography part time, so I have a "side income".

This plus the dealer's contact with the bank will increase your chances in getting a loan. There is one GTT (unreg) in Selayang last I check.

Good luck!

bro, i feel for you but you gotta understand maybe the bank is just trying to help you out. There are seriously too many cases of blacklisted, bankrupt ppl from failing to pay their loan. You seriously don't wanna get involved in it.
