want to ask for AT > MT conversion.. some noob questions

1)Head Assembly with VVTi pulley and Throttle Body <-- in order to get the titanium valve isit? The valve is titanium and the camshaft profile is also different. Cam pulley is the same
2)Clutch Pump
3)Radiator <--- why ? radiator MT & AT whats the diff ? The bottom of the radiator different due the cooler for the ATM.
4)Manual Flywheel
5)Air intake Box with Map sensor <-- why again, MT & AT intake & Map sensor layout diff ? Actually the intake box design is different. The sensor can use back ATM.
6)Engine Control Unit
7)Complete Wiring Loom
8)Oil Cooler with piping
9)Meter Cluster
10)Front Down Pipe
11)Centre Pipe with O2 Sensor <-- AT alrdy has 2 holes for 2 O2, can't we utilize 1 of it and omit/seal the other ? what's the impact ? Not sure will impact the performance or not. Just follow back original just in case. MTM and ATM have different part number
12)Transmission assembly J160
13)Gear Lever assembly
14)Pedal Assembly
15)Gear lever cover & console
16)Rear Diff 4.3 LSD with addition mounting
17)Long Shaft
18)Fuel Pump Assembly <- why again, MT's is higher cc? Nope Fuel pump same. The regulator has different part number.
19)Steering wheel <-- why ? can disable the up/down button right? or convert it to something useful ? ? i donno... Can retain if convert to Turbo can you for trigger for boost...20)Gear Knob


sorry fellow taiko-taiko altezza if my question sounds tooo noob.

No worries...This is based on my study of the parts catelog. I will know more next week when I send the car in for the conversion. Will update my findings.

Correction. Yes you are rite it is dual pot. slip my mind....

I remember mine was a single big pot for the front wheel where else others are twin pot ....i still keep it till nw hahahaha

I wanna ask about muffler...mine auto tezza...is there is any power loss if i change muffer let say its not s-flow...

What is your opinion on this thing?

Agree with aycy, straight flow full titanium paip...power gain n also very responsive. Not to forget 'noise' will increase too.

Aycy was using AMUSE ti and I used StillWay ti.

Any straight pipes will increase noise. :P

But I'm still surprised straight pipe on an auto would increase power... wouldn't there be back pressure loss if you're not on forced induction?

The suspension is double wishbone.

Not sure cos some say it works and some say it doesnt.

for straight flow, do u guys still retain both the stock mid-muffler ?
possible the back pressure is being maintain there..

* Front: Independent double wishbone with lower coil
* Rear: Independent multi-link double wishbone with lower coil
