    Hi Jim, Do you know anything else that was done besides the dashboard change? 8 months in workshop is a long time just for a dashboard. When you turn the Ignition on does the dashboard light up? Does the car crank?

    Hi RigerZ, I had a similar problem like you before. That's actually oil sludge buildup. Is your exhaust smoke white in colour? If so, you're leaking oil into the combustion chamber. It's quite a major problem already. You have to get it rectified with your mechanic.

Waja Subframe (Front) Replacement
Hi guys,

One of the nuts in the subframe has come loose after replacing the front lower arm for my waja. The bolt now spins freely and cannot be removed also.

I've read on VW forums that they will cut a hole in the subframe and weld the nut back in place, but that seems like it will compromise the structure of the subframe. (I have a GSR terbalik in my engine bay).

My questions is, should I look for a Waja subframe from halfcut shops, buy a new one from Proton (how much?:bawling:)...
