Haha..Thanks guys V6 is cheap now. So tempted Both SEi and V6 engine are reliable? Any problematic sensors? Spark plugs cost to change maybe can use expensive plugs, change every 80,000km = 3 years Any tricks to enhanced gearbox reliability? Maybe use fully synthetic atf and larger...- pathfinder

Cheap turbocharged car just for fun
Thanks 350hp at engine ...not at wheel, because i think it is safe max limit for stock internals like pistons and rods. Maybe just use TD05 good enough, with e-manage ultimate. 1JZ VVTI single turbo on RWD platform also very interesting, only let down by auto gearbox. Holset HX3540 turbo is...- pathfinder

To take care of turbo engine
the basic 1 is using good quality engine oil. It's fine to use semi-synthetic, just make sure dont exceed 5000km. If u regularly high revving/high speed, this requires shorter oil change interval. also make sure cooling system is tip top. (oil & water flow). Drain & refill water/coolant...- pathfinder

My car's auto gbox was damaged and went through rebuilt. Currently using external/extra ATF cooler. On hot day or long distance drive, i can feel the engine and gearbox are working in harmony. Just now drop by at RS Dev, met Ong. Ong suggest a mechanic nama Saiful utk pasang ATF cooler. Ex Kia mechanic Kat RS Dev ada oil cooler Works. He told me it's made in USA. I suspect Taiwan made. He quoted RM900 with all the adapters & hoses. Whereas the Taiwan Works cost RM500. Hmmmm...- pathfinder
