Jerk

Hello Bro's out there!!!
My car is jerking like crazy!!! What do u think? Other than spark plugs and throttle body what else could be causing the jerking? Help me guys!!!

last time i also face this problem..but wat car that u re drivin..and for prob like this...there are so many assumption,maybe:
1)spark plug prob
2)cable plug prob
3)distributor prob
4)or fuel filter prob..

I'm driving a Wira Sedan 1.5 2003 edition. For your information, I already cleaned the throttle body. Any ideas?

most probably plug cable problem, try swap it with frens first to conform

But there no jerking on higher revs....

if everthing checked and fine, then mostly is your fuel pump.
i had my car jerk fixed after all the things go well except fuel pump.

You can try cleaning your injectors...that is what happened to mine last time. Only jerk below 3k rpm, right?

Erm , mine is satria 1.3 carb, but will jerk only on high speed mebbe at abt 140-160. Feels like no petrol goin in n wanna mati engine, release throttle then ok , tekan again will jerk. Please advise.

feeling that the cab fuel line have some dirt. maybe trying replacing the fuel line. could be the reason but i could be wrong

You can try cleaning your injectors...that is what happened to mine last time. Only jerk below 3k rpm, right?

Yeah....But that day my workshop said it's the spark plug cable. What cables would you recommend? What diameter bro's?

Nope. checked it all. Mounting in good condition....

Jerk can be cause by alot of things.

Sorry to borrow post, but can i know what anymore can cause jerk. my dad's car have changed the following;

1)carburater
2)wash petrol
3) electrical all check. (spark plag,etc)

his car jerk at very minor and just jerk as he like =.-

bro, u ever tried driving till ur petrol tank is nearly empty then only u went to pump petrol back? if u did this before then it might be caused by the dirt beneath ur petrol tank coz when u pump in petrol again it mixes.. considering your car is 3 year old oredi i guess got dirt start to settle down liaw.. i experienced this problem a month ago though.. :regular_smile:
