Proton Gen 2 Front Position Headlight Bulb Replacement

Tool:
1.Multimeter - 1 unit (for testing)
2.Replacement bulb- 1 unit
Duration: 15-20 minute

Procedure
1. Open up the front hood of your car.
2. Reach your hand to the back of the head light.
3. The low beam head light is at the lower part.

4. Twist the bulb socket counter clock wise to release it.
5. Take out the bulb socket from its slot.

6. Pull the burned bulb from the socket.

Note you can check the continuity of the bulb terminal to ensure the bulb is faulty. No continuity means the filament is broken.
It it black as in picture, confirm to replace it.
7. Install the new bulb to the socket and put back the socket in to the slot.
8. Twist the socket clock wise to lock into its place.
9. Turn on the car light to test.
10. Finish

UPDATED
-The bulb was wrongly identified as the low beam. Its actually the procedure for position light.

mottrang....did u turn the screw until it just cant adjust anymore? even reverse the adjustment also cant move?

the adjuster is just basically a fixed screw with a plastic nut connected to the reflector bowl...if u turn too much, either the plastic nut came off the screw or reached the end of the screw n wore off...if really turn n no movement...u have to open the headlamp cover to take a look see. happened to me twice. tried changing to a metal nut but it seems they use a non standard size screw. in the end, i put some 2 tonne epoxy inside the plastic nut (just lightly coat the insides to add material so the screw has more material to dig into) n covered back the headlamp...hard to imagine...but once u open n take a look you'll understand.

You have to tip your hat to the boys from Munich when it comes to catchy marketing schemes that just make you want to dig deeper. So it’s so surprise that their latest ploy has even come with a warning to blog about a twisted model that’s twisted from the steel of the 6 Series...
