step 1. unscrew all this 6 screw.

step 2. slowly pull out compartment & unclip compartment light.

step 3. after comapertment had been taken out, on ur right hand side u will see this & unscrew this 2 screw.

step 4. after taken out that part, on deep inside u will find air condition dust filter located.

step 5. slowly pull it out a bit& 2nd finger press down remaining inside filter *** coz the filter is expand type..

step 6. cleaning time, i use front loading machine washing to clean it.

and i put a little bit softlan for fragant purpose i think & some detergent.

and set timing for 30 min's clean.

set the thing rotate, plik plag plig plag. tat one is ok for ur washing machine won't spoilt.

after cleaning done result. not very happy.

execute plan B.

step 7. flush it with tap water & brush with toothbrush (gosok gigi) won't spoilt filter due to filter is not really paper type.

slowly brush it every layer & let it dry. final result will be like this.

step 8. install back, 2nd finger pressdown & slowly push in.

make sure is fully push in yah, be carefull the cable.

Blitz does a nice anti bacteria filter for the AC. I used to have one on my R34. Don't know if there is one for the G11. Would be nice to have. Also, at least it is nice to know that TCM is actually providing the filters on their cars now. I had a friend who opened the compartment to check the filter on his X-trail and found that there was no filter there! Apparently TCM never provided the filter on the X-trail.

my waja is paper type, blm is plastic mesh type.
i dont buy a replacement filter for the waja but i rip out the old filter.
bought a home aircon filter.its an additional filter actually and looks like a tissue.
bought it ai Daiso so its rm5.
cut to shape amd done.

better flow than paper type and seem to have odour removing ability.
will upload pic when i replaced it again probably this weekend as its already dirty.
flow is very slow.

i also used it as an additional filter in front of my k&n air filter to capture all those dead bug from
getting in between the v shape vilter as they are very hard to removed even with an air gun.
