They say all good things must come to an end, and when it came down to the US F1 team, it was the rare case of the end coming before the beginning. There were drum rolls in anticipation of the raise of a American Formula One team, something that many were looking forward to. But as big of a bang they created when announcing their contention, the USF1 went out with nothing more than a whimper. There has been no news about them for a couple months, till now.

The failed racing outfit had to get rid of everything it owned in an auction held last week and though some say that prices were ridiculously jacked, the tub you see above went for just under US$8,000. Pretty cheap for F1 standards no?? Meanwhile, prices of other items were pushed up by souvenir hunters, some forumers are talking about a US$400 printer going for US$700. Well, here's hoping the team made up for their losses. Some of the other items that went up for sale included mundane office and industrial equipment, handtrucks, a refrigerator, trash cans, cabinets, desktop computer equipment and laptops. Blue and green couches were available too and so was a vacuum cleaner, a 48-inch television and one bottle of Champagne that was presumably was there to celebrate victories.
