Yes, all ACE HARDWARE outlets carry generous stocks of Tufoil unless they run out of stock.
ENEOS too should have some stocks but they were last spotted placed in the High security area with a guard or attendant. In this area, high value and highly desired stuff are kept. Always, approach the manager or staff should you not be able to find Tufoil in these stores.

Alright, how often do i use it? Every oil change?

Because I've been using 20w-50 mineral oil for quite some time, do u think i should top up the mineral with the tufoil or a switch to semi-syn? It is quite an old engine, i do not want to spend so much on it but at the same time keeping the FC low as well.

What would be a decent solution for me?

It is simple, liquiddog.

Just continue to use the mineral oil.

For first time use, add one 8 oz. bottle of Tufoil together with the motor oil. Thereafter, a minimum of 4 oz. of Tufoil will do. You should be able to save some fuel if you care to monitor it.

Half a bottle will do in such a situation.

There should be no problem getting Tufoil in Ipoh. You can go to Ipoh Auto Master at 35 Medan Kidd or call 0193294665 Mr. Kong of Ordeon.

The standard Tufoil bottle is in 8 oz. or 237ml. You add Tufoil to the motor oil that you are using.

In Penang, pay a visit to Victory Auto, 191, Magazine Road. There is plenty of good stuff there.

Focal Point.
I using Shell Helix semi synthetic lubricant oil (10W-40), active cleansing agent within it. can I mix Tofoil with it? Would the active clearing agent wash away the PTFE if mix to it? I worry it, because alreay put 1 bottle tufoil and notice no different after 1 week of using it, or should I change other brand lubricant oil?

Thanks Damond112 for the sharing.

Modern motor oils are mostly also detergent oils. They clean as they lubricate.

In your case, you should always choose the oil that serves you. Good mileage, low burn-off, quietness, value for money etc.

For some engines, with the use of Tufoil, the results can be quite dramatic. For others, the effects may be lesser or realised after say after 500 miles. However, do know that the engine is protected by unnecessary wear and that the running oil temperature is lower. That said, do check on fuel consumption after 3 or 4 tankfuls of fuel. Check exhaust tail pipe for reduced carbon or unburnt fuel. Engine quietness? Easy of starting in the mornings. Better idling especially in carburetted engines. Etc.

Tufoil transform the resultant motor oil into a highly slippery oil mix. When oil is very slippery, it flows much faster by virtue of less shearing and drag. Do know that oil weeps through the paper inside the oil filter and thereafter to the parts of the engine. Don't expect this to be lightning speed. This is dependent on factors like the quality of the filtering paper, oil quality and viscosities, oil pressure etc..

Lastly, do be around the car to ensure that Tufoil actually gets into the engine. This is the reason why some are insisting that they put it in at home. This is OK, but make sure the max mark on dipstick is not breached. Take care.

I use REVO really feel the difference, engine more power and smoother acceleration. here are some facts on REVO :

Will REVO™ harm my engine ?

This is a good question. You may further ask how does any oil additive possibly harm the engine which is made out of solid alloys and metal ? There are many types of engine oil additive in the market today. Many of which uses substance like Teflon and chlorine or other medium to provide better lubricity and cleaning effect over your standard engine oil.

Teflon as we know needs to cling on to your engine parts before it can do its job of reducing friction. The trick is getting the right composition of Teflon into your engine, too little Teflon there is little or no effect, too much Teflon it will build up gum overtime in your engine. Unfortunately, few manufacturers successfully achieved the right composition. REVO™ formulation not only enhances the lubricity of your existing engine oil but synergizes with your engine oil . REVO's polar properties provides much better engine protection during cold start ups and extreme driving conditions.

Chlorine as we know is very corrosive but is a very fast acting cleaning agent. Many engine oil additive out there uses chlorine as a cleaning agent as it is cheap and effective. The danger and presence of chlorine is seldom revealed in many product packaging. What is the long term effect of using chlorine based additive on your piston rings, bearings, oil seals and engine gasket ? Instead of protecting your engine, most of these parts will fail prematurely due to the fast acting and corrosive nature of chlorine.

REVO™ does not have any of these physical proprieties, substance or composition. REVO™ is 100% formulated from natural ester and is pH neutral.

REVO™ is 100% natural base, non-flammable, pH neutral and does not contain any chlorine, alcohol or Teflon and is environmentally safe.

i'm not a seller for this product, but this products really works !
Previously have tried few other types of oil additives, but nothing comes close on engine performance compare to this one...TRY it to believe it..

I use TORCO MPZ Magnetic Friction Reducer...very superrrb additive that i have been used before this...U can feel the power n smoother acceleration at your engine...below is the description about this additive :

Product Description

MPZ Magnetic Friction Reducer is the same race proven, friction reducing technology in every Torco "Professional Series" motor oil. MPZ MFR is a key component to reducing frictional losses and when added to other brands of motor oil can increase horsepower and torque by as much as 1%-3%. This directly translates to improved fuel efficiency (as much as 6.3% during city driving and 8.5% during highway driving conditions), improved component durability, reduced operating temperatures, reduce oil degradation and peace of mind. Compatible with all synthetics, synthetic blends and petroleum based motor oils.

Features & Benefits

- Improves fuel efficiency
- Increases horsepower & torque
- Increases wear protection for longer engine life
- Reduces operating temperatures
