Giant continental car manufacturers like Posh, BMW, Mercs often get copied some of their masterpiece by those China cars manufacturers. But what came across my eyes from some random searching was even our beloved national car that may not stand a chance to shine it's name worldwide, but still it was a target to some pro-clone China car manufacturer and it was called the "Lotus L3 1.6L" originated from Proton Persona.

Isnt that the rebadged gen2 for china market?
They can copy much better cars if they want to..

I think that is a re-badged. Cannot use Lotus name just like that woo.

as you all know, they has good mimic skills..see how they copy other products such as iPhones, RM 300 can buy already while the original HTC costs us thousands

Err its rebadged, so proton are PAYED.. Not the other way around..
If its a matter of copying, sue them and get paid also.. Hehehe

You sure its not the other way round? >.> I don understand why they don't imitate other better brand lor. So I can only tink dat... Proton payed them @.@

Because they don't know how to pronounce Perusahaan Otomobil National in China?
For example if people ask them what does Proton stands for, they can't speak our languange :thefinger:

haha yeah, maybe sold at a discounted price.. Like those UK specs, better quality but cheaper than our local price (or something like that)..
