ive been using ron95 since it was lauched, the hydraulic tappets sounds much louder,
slight power decrease.
shell - ok, but tappet sound still there
petronas - no, tappet sound bloody loud, no power.
BHP - havent tried
caltex - yes, recomended, tappet sound decreases
mobil/esso - havent tried.

rm10 - ron95 - 50km
rm10 - ron97 - 45km.
**city driving.
i have the same problem, normally im just pump ron97, but one day my fuel was running out and i have to go to the nearest petrol pump, but too sad that petrol pump doesnt have ron97, so i pumped ron95 into my car and thnx a lot, my tappets sounds like hell, and now i pumped back ron97, the tappets sounds still there, but sometimes has, sometimes dont have, thnx to ron95 :thefinger:

the diff 95 n 97 is not significant.. but mixing up different petrol is a good idea.. why ? because diff gasoline contain different additive and detergent...

On the 95octane i do a research on the dyno only can boost max 1.5bar and 12.0AFR.If lower the power go down.If u rich the fuel, torque go down. And i try to mix little Ethanol, the power jumping at same boost.
