if u want to fix in order to maintain original engine, u can try one workshop opposite tesco ampang, the signboard written 'PAKAR NAZA AND KIA'. It's quite reasonable there n warranty will be given as well.

mine got one KIA specialist workshop (before this he work in KIA service Puchong) in serdang/Jaya Jusco Equin area, good workmanship and reasonable price coz im send my citra for monthly services there...

bro Gtiii 01, during conversion to VQ25 engine mounting totally adjust/custom or just plug n play? how much cost for runner endorsement? just want to know estimate cost to tell my friend used naza ria got common engine problem as a alternative solutions..

u need to custom driveshaft n mounting. the runner will cos u below RM1k. but u need to giv them time coz custom work can never be perfect at the 1st time. but the fuel consumption better compare to the stock engine...

wahhh... agree with u all... very expensive... im using kia rio also

back then my car overheat due to the radiator fan is not working... then i stop the car and call the kia centre to have them send a man... happened at jalan ampang

after they arrive, they just plug in some sort of ecu reading device and the said " u must tow your car to our service centre" ... owhhh, i have no time coz i have to go back to terengganu...
i keep asking them what the problem...? coz when i try to direct my radiator fan to battery, it is working perfectly ... they said it is some sort of wiring problem...

so, then i said, it is ok, because i have to hurry to terengganu, and said to them that i've just keep the fan directly spin...

and then have to pay RM80 for just a ecu check about 30sec!!! then i kawtim with that guy, and i call back the call centre and said that they never come and i have my own foreman... then i just pay rm40 for the 2 kia guys...

btw, the problem is only the fuse box circuit in engine bay, the board that we used to put the fuse have loose.. so the fuse leg cant touch the circuit board... that's why the fan is not working...

i tot the fan motor is broken, so waste my RM270 to buy the fan motor... RM270 for only the motor!!!!! huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... very expensive wehhhh!!

if you think KIA are ripping off the user...ten what about proton...mahathir has been ripping off the rakyat for years.because of proton invention the other quality models are priced at higher price and many malaysiasian are forced to buy ripp off shitty cars like proton.
evern serving proton is not cheap...the slit your throat al well.
I am kia user...I love kia cars...optima K5...awesome car...not like anyother proton cars....

New car is ok....but....i also using KIA car. I used Spectra and Nazaria.....spectra is a suck car......sorry to say but very useless......full of trouble.....repair cost very high......and lastly resale value just like selling besi buruk.......for nazaria user...my advise is dont change the engine to other engine such as vq25 or mitsubishi engine....coz it will give u trouble afterwards. if yr engine is out just go to Kia power in segambut or Express mobis...u can buy original new engine complete for the price about rm7500-rm8000 compare to vq25 engine that is secondhand engine with a lot of modification. this is my 2 and a half cent advise. tq

Kia/Hyundai service is indeed not cheap as said by many before till date...

Even so, Proton cars is not as bad as what some of you think...All cars has it own problems...
they have improved a lot over the years if we were to look back at the 1st few
batch of protons...I used to bash proton as well until I come to an understanding
about proton more and can see the improvement till date.

Why nobody bash Toyota when Toyota had once have problems with their new
camry and altis? Why no one condemned Honda, when their cars have problems?
Why only when Proton has some problems, then ppl seems to focus more on it?
Bias? or just cuz is buatan Malaysia or just cuz what others says about Proton, we do
the same...? Monkey See, Monkey Do? Ever thought of reading up yourself and judge?

Well, real life example on opinions/thoughts of some:
Brand T Owner:
Oh the new models accelerator got problem.."maybe just a few model la, is normal la..."

When it comes to hearing problems of Proton...

Brand T Owner:
"Don't buy proton la, Proton is a stupid model! Power window got problem, always rosak"

Get the picture? Go figure...

If were to compare, a few Proton models are much better than Kia/Hyundai cars.
The newer models I'm not so sure. Even in terms of FC is much better than the spectra
which is well-known for drinking fuel like water and other sorts of problems which non
have ever raise much.

Thanks to Lotus, their handling for Proton is much better than many other
well-known imported brands..

1 thing I do agree is the tax on imported cars is indeed ridiculous. Well, what to do?
We live in Malaysia, we have to accept the fact that we have to pay for the extra tax charges...


Anyway, I would say all brands are trying to improve day by day.

The main difference between Toyota, Honda, Kia and Proton is that the rakyat has a share in Proton. If our share results in crappy cars, we feel it's money wasted. Therefore complaints will be aplenty whereas the other car brands are just having a bad day hence the crap cars. Not our money also.. no one cares.

I totally 300% agree with u supra_fantastics. If we as a Malaysian did not support Malaysian product then dont live here and hold malaysian ID..... If u wanna cheap car go to UK....u can get a car for a couple of hundred or a couple of thousand.....I love being a Malaysian citizen although the car price is a little big high but other thing's better than other country. Just compare with our neighbour....My experience living in Indonesia has given me a lesson.......If we think that we have a better idea then spell it loud.....this is free and democratic country.....If we see and analyse thoroughly, what DR mahathir did those day was a very good decision those days.......but dont compare it this days.....i'm not politician but i see it in a neutral way......What some people did just to make profit, for instance bring KIA cars to malaysia.....With high price and high maintenance plus second hand resale value is just like selling crap....I dont know....u think it yrself......It's all up to u....i just describe it according to my experience
