i believe this guy mean by top end,long distance perhaps....if so,no wonder why laa even gen2 also can buang honda with b siries inside especially jdm spec(cut off 180 kmh)...but in term of torque,sorry la bro i would say...

go for manual.

auto, u lose 20% more power due to the torque converter, and also B16a auto is rated lower than the manual equivalent. torque also less.

160PS vs 155PS (auto)

for long distance, also go for manual. longer legged. unless u swap final drives, different story altogether.

but manual is pricier.

i am dying for a manual convertion....

yup auto less power delivery to wheel due to the fluid coupling.....but some massive hp cars need the autobox just to make the car drivable...:hmmmm:
